Scholarships
As part of promoting professionalism within the remodeling industry, the National Remodeling Foundation awards scholarships each year to promote education within the remodeling industry. Scholarships can be awarded to individuals entering the Remodeling Industry or remodelers taking their industry education to the next level.
Our scholarship program can be used for:
- University, technical school or community college education related to the remodeling industry
- Industry-recognized specialty certification and education programs
- NARI, NKBA, and NAHBR Certifications
The NRF also considers scholarships for Executive Directors of NARI, NAHB, and NKBA chapters who wish to pursue their Certified Association Executive certification through ASAE (separate application).
How To Apply
Download and complete the appropriate application using the link above.
Each completed application should be accompanied by the following (incomplete applications will not be considered):
- Cover letter with a brief background of the applicant and a paragraph or two stating the applicant's goals in the remodeling industry.
- Two reference letters, one personal (no family members) and one professional/academic, on letterhead, referencing applicant's name and address, the potential of the applicant, and why the applicant would qualify as a candidate for the scholarship.
- A copy of most recent Federal IRS Tax return. If the applicant is under age 18, the parents' federal tax return. If the applicant is over 18, the applicant may select the option of either the parent's or the student's federal tax return.
- Most recent educational transcripts.
