Humanitarian Aid

The first major instance of the National Remodeling Foundation facilitating Humanitarian Aid was in response to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The NRF partnered with New York City and New Jersey chapters of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry to raise funds and facilitate remodelers

The NRF rallied again with NARI as Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast by raising money to send professional remodelers to the area to help rebuild.

When Super Storm Sandy hit the East Coast in 2012, the NRF gave a grant to a senior citizen whose home had been devastated by the storm.

We partnered with NARI and Rebuilding Together following Hurricane Harvey, raising money for the south Texas area to provide materials and construction crews to begin the rebuild of the area.

The NRF has also provided grants for local community service remodeling projects benefiting children, disabled veterans and senior citizens.
